Arris Design helped Mary Ann Winterling’s staff bring the outdoors in to create a peaceful, multifaceted space with dining, relaxation, and collaborative work zones. High School students from Baltimore Design School designed and painted a mural, bringing a special touch to this space.
Before: The Mary Ann Winterling Teachers’ lounge was an outdated classroom with a mix of excess furniture, including child-sized tables.
After: The Teacher’s Lounge was inspired by their love for nature and the desire to seamlessly blend the outdoors with the indoors. Previously, the space was an eclectic collection of found items, lacking a clear identity or purpose…. By thoughtfully incorporating earthy tones, lush greenery, and layered lighting, we transformed the space into a serene retreat.
